Project terms.

This page is an informational summary, not a binding contract. It exists to make the language on our pricing pages and proposals precise and consistent. The formal customer agreement will be drafted and reviewed by an attorney before it governs any actual project -- until then, nothing on this page should be read as a legal guarantee.

Definitions

Page Section
A distinct content block within your site's core build, such as Home, About, Services, Testimonials, or Contact. The core build is delivered as one continuous scrolling experience, not separate page loads -- section count, not page count, is the standard measure of build scope.
Core Page
A distinct website page with its own primary purpose and URL, such as a blog, support center, or resource library. Core Pages are not part of the standard section-based build -- they are genuinely separate pages and are scoped and priced on their own.
Design Direction
The approved overall visual approach, including typography, colors, layout principles, imagery treatment, and motion style.
Template-Based Design
A design created from an existing Rebuilt structural framework and then customized with the customer's brand, content, imagery, and approved configuration.
Bespoke Design
A more extensively customized design direction created specifically for the customer. Bespoke design does not automatically include unlimited custom functionality or animation.
Standard Animation
Common transitions, hover effects, fades, reveals, parallax effects, and scroll-based movement that do not require a custom 3-D asset or specialized animation system.
Advanced Motion
Custom motion sequences, interactive storytelling, complex scroll behavior, or other movement requiring additional design and development. Advanced motion is limited to the items expressly identified in the approved scope.
Standard Integration
Connection to a supported third-party platform using documented methods, embedded tools, or standard APIs -- for example Contact forms, Calendars, CRM forms, Email-marketing platforms, Analytics, Social feeds, Maps, Standard payment links. Custom API development, data migration, paid third-party tools, and unsupported systems are quoted separately.
Advanced Integration
Advanced integrations may include more involved workflows or API-supported connections, but they do not automatically include custom application development. Custom APIs, portals, marketplaces, databases, membership platforms, and unusual integrations require separate scoping.
Revision Round
One consolidated set of customer feedback submitted at the same time. Scattered feedback or new feedback after a revision has been completed may count as an additional round.
Content Migration
Moving approved text and media from the customer's existing website into the new website. It does not automatically include rewriting, fact-checking, data entry, image licensing, or creation of new content.
Minor Content Update
A limited change to existing text, images, links, hours, contact information, or similar content that does not require a new layout, page, feature, animation, or integration.
Business Day
Monday through Friday, excluding recognized holidays.
Delivery Timeline
An estimate beginning after the deposit, required materials, access, and approvals have been received. Customer delays extend the delivery schedule.
Final Approval
The customer's written confirmation that the website is approved for launch, subject only to corrections of confirmed defects.
Launch
Making the approved website publicly accessible on the agreed domain or transferring the completed deliverables as specified in the agreement.
Out-of-Scope Work
Any service, feature, page, revision, integration, content, or functionality not expressly included in the approved project scope.
Customer Delay
A delay caused by missing content, access, feedback, approvals, decisions, or payment from the customer.
Third-Party Service
Any hosting provider, software platform, plugin, API, domain registrar, analytics product, or external service not owned by Rebuilt.
Care Plan
The recurring service covering hosting, maintenance, monitoring, security-related updates, backups, and the stated amount of support or content-update time.
Customer Content Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for providing accurate business information, brand assets, specialized information only they can verify, legal disclosures, final claims and representations, timely feedback and approvals. Rebuilt organizes, polishes, rewrites, and develops content based on the selected package -- you're not expected to arrive with finished website copy.
